“If this is the future of Australian theatre, I think we’re in safe hands” – ArtsHub

Award winning theatre company Bodysnatchers bring their idiosyncratic style to the Old 505 Theatre with an investigation of the bleak and sometimes terrifying trajectory humanity is charting into the future.

Centring on rockstar physicist, Jan Hendrik Schön, this new Australian play takes a remarkable true story and re-invents it as an allegory for a world in crisis.

’Plastic’ examines our collective willingness to believe in the transformative power of technology. It shines a light on our mad, manic drive to succeed at all costs in a society driven by capitalism, desire and greed.

* Premium Adult patrons will be given first choice of seating each performance night. As well as securing the best seats in the house, it gives you a chance to invest further in the development of the work you are seeing and allows the Old 505 Theatre to continue to be a vital incubation space for new work.
